Setup map

Setup complete 🎉

9 of 11 done · the rest are optional

Name your booking link (done)
- Open Booking link in the left menu. Under "Your name in the link", type a short name for your business with no spaces, e.g. luna-hair, and press Claim it.
- That becomes the page your guests book on: getsalonbook.com/book/your-name. It is also the name shown at the top of that page.
- Pick it once — people save the link. You can still change it later on the same page.
Open Booking link
Add your phone and address (done)
- Open Settings and scroll to "Business details". Type your phone number and your full address (street, number, town), then press Save.
- They show under your name on your booking page: tapping the address opens Google Maps, tapping the phone calls you.
- Email is optional. Anything you leave empty is simply not shown.
Open Settings
Set your opening hours (done)
- In Settings, find "Opening hours". First pick your timezone ("Use this device's" fills it in for you).
- Tick the days you are open and set opening and closing times for each. Untick the days you are closed.
- Add holidays under "Closed dates", then press Save opening hours. Nobody can book outside these hours.
Open Settings
Add your services (done)
- On Booking link, find "Your services". For each service, type its name, its price (leave 0 if you do not show prices) and how many minutes it takes, then press Add.
- The length decides how much time is blocked in the calendar.
- Add as many as you offer — you can remove or add more at any time. Without at least one, nobody can book.
Add a service
Add your stylists (chairs) (done)
- Open Team in the left menu and add each stylist with their name. You can add as many as you need, and more later.
- Guests choose who they book with, so everyone taking bookings should be here.
- Someone works different days or hours, or is away on a date? Under "Working hours and time off" on the same page, give them their own hours or add their time off.
Open Team
Upload your logooptional (to do)
- On Booking link, find "Your logo" and press Choose a picture. A square picture works best.
- It appears on your booking page and on the printed QR sheet. Without one, the SalonBook mark is shown.
Open Booking link
Take deposits with Stripeoptional (done)
- Only if you want people to pay part of the price when they book, or leave a card for no-shows.
- You need your own Stripe account (stripe.com). In Settings, follow the Stripe card: it shows exactly which key to create and paste.
- The money goes straight to your Stripe account. We never touch it.
Open Settings
Choose how late guests can change onlineoptional (done)
- Guests get a private link in their confirmation email to move or cancel their booking themselves.
- In Settings → Opening hours, under "Online changes by guests", pick how late that is allowed — 24 hours before is the default. After that, the link tells them to call you.
- You get an email every time someone moves or cancels. Deposits are never refunded automatically: refund or keep them on your desk.
- Press Save opening hours.
Open Settings
Reminder callsoptional (to do)
- Confirmations, changes and cancellations always go out by email, free. There is no reminder email: the day-before reminder is this call.
- In Settings → "Reminder calls", switch calls on and top up prepaid credit ($10, $25 or $50). Each call costs 5¢ from that credit and calls stop at $0.
- Only guests who ticked the reminder-call box get a short call the day before. They can press 9 to stop further calls.
Open Settings
Book yourself a test visit (done)
- Open your booking link on your phone, as a customer would, and book a visit for yourself.
- Check that your name, address, hours and stylists look right, and that the booking appears in your calendar and your email.
- Then delete the test booking from the calendar.
Open Booking link
Share your link and print the QR (done)
- On Booking link: press Print on the QR sheet and put it where people wait or pay — the counter, the door, the mirror.
- Send a ready WhatsApp, SMS or email message from the same page, and put the link in your Instagram bio and Google Business Profile. The steps for each are at the bottom of that page.
